COOEC has a professional offshore construction fleet of 19 vessels in 6 types, including 7,500-ton derrick vessel, class-3 dynamic positioning deep-water derrick & laying vessel, MSVs and engineering auxiliary vessels, which are equipped 17 Rovs, 1 set of deepwater flexible laying system and 1 set of plow trenching machine, etc. The capacity of subsea engineering operations is up to 3,000m-level.
In recent years, COOEC has accumulated experience in implementing dozens of subsea projects, including subsea production system installation, mooring system treatment, deep water flexible laying, subsea trenching and subsea facilities inspection and maintenance. The Liuhua 16-2, Liuhua 29-1 and Lingshui 17-2 projects implemented by COOEC are the first truly large scale deepwater projects in China, and have formed a series of comprehensive deepwater business capabilities such as deepwater semi-submersible unit, deepwater steel suspension line riser, subsea production system, deepsea pipeline laying. Especially, the successful completion of “Deep Sea No.1”, “Haiji-1”, ”Haiji-2” and other equipment have promoted China’s offshore oil and gas development capacity to enter the ultra-deepwater era.
